What I have found so far is that you have 2 slots on the board that will accept ram. I am still looking to see the maximum it can handle.
If you go to crucial.com and use the scanner, it will tell you all you need to know.
I suspect a maximum of 2 gb (that 2- 1 gb sticks).
What you have in there know is most likely a total of 512mb (2- 256 mb sticks).
The reason you are showing only 504mb is that you have onboard video which is using 8mb. There is nothing you can do about that other than an external graphics card (if the computer will accept it).
We will need the manual to determine that.
Crucial or 4All Memory will tell you what you have and what you can get.
1. If i increase the virtual memory size do i still need to purchase a RAM? Yes, it is recommended. As you add to the computer and use more program, you will continue to get virtual memory errors.
2. If not, what's the point of buying it? You want the computer to use RAM, and not to access the hard drive for storage. It slows everything down.
3. If i purchase the RAM I don't need to increase the size of the virtual memory right? Most likely not. The computer will only use it if it meeds it. That is if it runs out of RAM.
EDIT for added Crucial scan.
By putting in E310 in the advisor tool, this is what I found.
Crucial Scan for E310
As previously noted, you can buy from them or use what you see as a guide and go to tiger direct or newegg.
