Driver Update Fiasco

Much to my wife's chagrin, I am an avid WOW gamer. I recently upgraded my Nvidia drivers to 182.50. Well, I am now in deep trouble. I cannot access games, my D & E drives have disappeared, restore points only go back 3 days ( I did reload XP trying to get back to where I was) and so on and so on. I can't figure out how to run "CDgone" (recommended) in trying to get my D and E drives up and running. I feel like I'm digging a hole to China and unfortunately, "me thinks" I'm almost there. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have "googled" this to death and so much of what I find is ambiguous to me and way too technical. I'm a philosophy/religion major - I'm not supposed to know this technical stuff....lol/sob.
