Hello guys, please help me installing microsoft office 2007. :)

When I tried installing it, after loading some files an error msg comes up. Which says "Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 encountered an error during setup. The windows installer service cannot update one or more protected windows files." :)

Can you help me figure out the cause and hence the solution of this problem? :)

You need to update your windows installer service.
Download here: http://www.microsoft...;displaylang=en
After that try to install your Microsoft Office product.

But again when i tried installing office, it gave me the same error as described above.

Missing DLL.

1. Inside the Windows Install Disk, go to I386 folder and double click on the FP40EXT.CAB file. You can access this folder by placing the Windows Install disk in to the drive, going in to My Computer, right clicking on the CD,DVD drive icon, and clicking Explore. Inside you will find several folders. Go and find that file.

2. Find fp4autl.dll and copy it (ctrl-c)

3. Go to c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\40\bin and paste it (ctrl-v)

4. Restart the 2007 office install
