I have two Hp CompaQ's , both are Windows Vista, but not networked...bit defender detected the trojan.generic virus on one of them, but says it cannot resolve. When I look for the destination file, it is not there. How can I get rid of it?
The other pc...when I came in one morning, it was at the user prompt w/ password. I have not set a password.
When I restart, sometimes I can get F10, sometimes not. I try to F8 and boot in safe mode w/ command prompt, but it boots up with the user prompt. Is there anyway to get in without losing my files? Please help....anyone. Thanks
