Hello ,

I use shift+arrow keys to select data in multiple rows on excel file

But this key combination is not working now . any advice how can I fix this problem

Have you tried closing Excel completely and opening another spreadsheet. Does the problem still exist?

If yes, have you checked whether any of the keyboard 'locks' have been accidentally enabled (Caps, Num, Scroll, etc.)

Yeah Scroll lock was on , and I had not noticed . I turned it off and now its working fine

That's what just happened to me. The problem is my Logitech keyboard does not have a Scroll Unlock key. If that's your situation, in Windows 7 click on the "Start" button and type in a search for "On-Screen Keyboard." That keyboard DOES have a Scroll Unlock key.

Other keyboards have a "func" function key.  That key works like the scroll lock key, press it once and it's on.  Press it again, it's off!  

 

I just looked at my Microsoft keyboard and there's a "F Lock" key.  I it's not "on", keys don't work the same as what's known.
