I am able to create hyperlinks in MS Word documents but not on forum posts. In Word I highlight the words I want to make into a hyperlink, click on the hyperlink icon, type in the URL I want hyperlinked in the box, click ok and the words I highlighted are then a highlighted hyperlink. When I do the same steps for a forum post the URL is included in the text after I click ok, and the words I selected to be hyperlinked are not highlighted or made a hyperlink. I've tried typing in the box the URL with and without the http and with and without the www. Thanks for any replies.

Most forums use bbCode for their links. Are you using something like this:
[src="http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/Can-t-create-hyperlink-t236692.html"]My Topic[/url]

Should wind up looking like this: My Topic
