Everest didn't show much, so I guess, we'll have to go with kind Pedro's advice

Your motherboard comes with Intel® P35 Express Chipset, so start with downloading chipset driver: http://www.intel.com...b/CS-026488.htm

It may solve your sound issue.
If not, we'll look for separate sound driver.
