First I want to note that the only Internet access I have right now is on a computer network that blocks downloads of exes and zips. Given that I am unable to download hijackthis or any of your recommended download tools I am unable to provide a log of any sort. I was wondering if it'd be possible to have those programs mailed to me.

I hope you don't mind me giving you a list of the symptoms without the hijackthis log. First, I get a virus alert, that won't go away, for Packed.Generic.200. Whatever virus that's using Packed.Generic.200 isn't being detected by the latest NAV update. After the alert my Internet access quickly fizzled out. I noticed that my TCP/IP Driver was disabled (It is now completely missing from the driver list although tcpip.sys is still there.) When I check the status of my network connection there is absolutely no IP information whatsoever. I also notice that whenever I plug in an external drive it is loaded up with a "Start.exe" and an "autorun.inf". Additionally, I'm not sure if this is because of the lack of TCP/IP, my Windows Firewall service will not start--the specific error says that the file cannot be found--the exact same error that I received when I tried to start the TCP/IP driver when it was still listed.

Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank You.
