you have to be logged on to a admin account...
try this...Click Start ...Start Search... type in cmd

You'll find command prompt at the top of the start menu now, right click it and choose Run as Administrator

now enter your command into the prompt

Ok, thanks. I did that and got the same results other than crypdlg.dll and wintrust.dll loaded fine this time. The others "failed to load, could not find module."

I uninstalled my Norton Virus and am now able to acces the websites I was not able to before. Now I feel as though I wasted $90.00 because I still need a virus protector.

The command was what he posted earlier, the regsvr32 ....dll's. There was a whole list of them. I think we might be having a similar problem; for me the problem is the same in either Internet Explorer or Firefox. Good luck!

go here and go down the list...as soon as you can connect to the sites you want to connect to ..stop going down the list...

Ok, I tried those things and still can't access secure sites. It's not just a problem with IE, Firefox and Opera have the same problem on my computer.

This command needs to be run from an elevated Command Prompt....
Click Start.. type in cmd into the Start/Search box,
right-click cmd.exe in the list above and select 'Run as Administrator'...
type in sfc /scannow...
