Hello,

No problem, I have what I'm looking for now. :tazz:

Download the attached file worktrader.zip.

Unzip it and place it on your desktop.

Boot in Safe mode !! Important and without networking support !!

Doubleclick on worktrader.bat.
A doswindow will open and close again... This is normal.

Reboot back to normal mode and post a new hijackthislog.

Looks good again!

You may fix next one in hijackthis because it has no real path -- leftover from Checkpoint security software:

O20 - Winlogon Notify: ckpNotify - C:\WINDOWS\

Perform a full scan with an updated Adaware SE and/or Spybot S&D to get rid of some leftovers.

To keep this clean in the future, I would suggest the following things:

Install Spywareblaster
SpywareBlaster doesn`t scan and clean for so-called spyware, but prevents it from being installed in the first place. It blocks the popular spyware ActiveX controls, and also prevents the installation of any of them via a webpage.

Avoid illegal sites, because that's where most malware is present.

Let your antispywarescanner(s) scan frequently and don't forget to update before.

And I do suggest you perform an online virusscan once in a while. (Kaspersky online and/or Bitdefender). Because what one virusscanner can't find another one maybe can.
Also make sure that your virusscanner, the one that is installed on your system is always up to date!

Make sure your windows has the latest updates: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

More info on how to prevent malware you can also find here (By Tony Klein)

Happy surfing again! :tazz:

This guy is still in the registry...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Services\rasacdo (StsPath=\??\C:\WINDOWS\stsheets.dat)

I just checked. I'll run your steps now and let you know.

Hmm -- seems like you have to take ownership of that key to delete it.
I'll explain how:

* Download and Install: Registrar Lite

* Start Registrar Lite
Copy and paste HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Services\rasacdo into the address bar on top in Registrar Lite.
Click the Go button.
You'll find in the leftpanel a purple/pink folder with the name rasacdo
Right-click and select: Properties
Click Permissions, Click the Advanced button

Place a checkmark next to the following:
'Inherit from parent the permission entries that apply to child objects...'

Click OK, Ok again and delete the key.
Make sure you only delete that key and no others!!
