Hi there,
I am hoping i put this in the right section...

I recently required an old NCR POS, its a touch screen all in one from 2002...
It is currently installed with Windows 2000 and logged into a non administrator account.
The hardware is minimal, Tocuhscreen, MSR, Customer display and ps/2, usb ports etc

I am wanting to format the unit and reinstall either linux or a fresh copy of windows
however i am struggling to boot up an installer or start an installation from windows itself..

I have tried to change the bios and put in a bootable flash drive...
and remove the harddrive to install onto from my desktop, however it is one of those smaller drives...
with no luck

Any ideas?

Thanks

Download and burn GParted to a disc.
Boot from it, and format the drive you wish to install to. IF the drive has more that one partition, you may want to join all of them, before formattting.
Then proceed with the installation of Windows or your flavor of Linux.
