Hello, I'd like some help please in trying to remove w/e malware/virus I have on my PC

I'm running two hard drives, one IDE and one SATA.

the IDE is 40gb and what I have my OS on (xp) and the SATA is merely for storage

If the malware/virus cannot be removed, I wouldn't mind doing a low level reformat I'd just need some advice on how to do that.

If you'd like me to post a HIJACK THIS log, I can do so.
