Help with USB drive?

Hello when i plug a USB drive into my computer it doesn't recognize it. It makes the little ding noise when i plug it in but on My computer it isn't shown. When i plug my camera in through USB it works but not when i plug in a USB drive. I have Windows XP can someone help me with this problem!

Well its worked but now all of the sudden it doesn't. Also i just plugged it in and it restarts the computer
None of my USB's work but i can plug my camera in

From that point i dont know whats your problem. Maybe its just problem in USB drive. Who knows...

I assume this is a flash drive and not a usb hard drive.
Being that you have XP, you should not require a driver for the drive.

Have you tried using the flash drive in another computer?
Have you tried using it in another USB outlet?

It works in other computers. It doesn't work in all the outlets in my computer.
