Hi, fenzodahl512 sent me over here to ask you about this. He just helped me clean my computer of viruses and malware, and I get this on restart of my computer. It started before I got the malware, and I would like to know if I should install this when it asks me to? He also told me to put in the MGADiag report.

I haven't a clue as to what you mean by "Is your Windows Genuine?" I would guess it is, but I don't have an install disc for it because it was built for me by a friend and he didn't give me an install disc. He's moved now and we've lost touch so I cannot call and ask him about it. Lately, though, every computer I've bought has come without an install disc.

The Windows Genuine Advantage you reference is so windows can supply you with updates for your version of OS.
What they want is for you to install the software so they can do the above. It verifies your installed version is genuine or authentic to put it simplified. It does not hurt anything and prob because of the malware cleaning it may have been corrupted.
The first part of your log shows:

WGA Data-->
Validation Status: Genuine
Validation Code: 0

I would suggest you let it install. You probably will not even know it is doing anything. When it is done installing it will probably say something to the affect of
"Thank you for....." and this will mean you are good to go.
Let me know what you discover.

For a more detailed description of what WGA is please go Here and read the explanation from Microsoft

:) So far, so good. I let it install, and like you said it said "Thank you for, etc."

Thanks for your help. I didn't want to just install something that I had no clue of what it was.
