Small but frustrating problem with the mouse.
It's a PS2 and the pointer is not as smooth as it has been, It will move but it "sticks" in places. I have cleaned it and even tried a different mouse but it still is sloppy in its movement. Any ideas?

Go to
Start then to Control Panel
Click on Mouse and then click on the Pointer Options
Check the top field and if the slider is to the left then adjust it to the middle
If the Enhance Pointer Precision is checked then uncheck it or if not then check it
