I am having a similar problem. My DELL LATITUDE D820 crashed with the BSOD with a message regarding tcpcp.sys. I have downloaded the BlueScreenViewer you suggested. Here is the text message of my crashes.Please HELP!

This can be caused by several things, including a WINLOGON hook infection.

Make certain that you eliminate all possibility of viruses and then you will need to repair your stack. To do this, open up an elevated command prompt (one with admin privileges) and type in this command:

netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

Reboot

Hopefully this will fix your issues.

Although your issue may seem similar there can be other factors that may need to be resolved.
By bumping on someone's topic it makes it confusing for the tech to understand who they are helping. This can in turn cause the wrong support to be given and can cause instability or worse to happen to your system.

Hi, I am new here.
I have a similar problem. I bought my computer (Asus k52j) 15 days ago and sometimes (every two or three days) I get a blue screen.
I'm using win 7 and ubuntu in different partitions.
I have two type of connection:
at university --> with a remote connection and ethernet or wireless (an autentication is required)
ar home --> with wireless or ethernet connection without autentication but only with the pwd for the wireless.
So far I have had blue screens when I was at university.
The security programs installed in my computer are: Comodo Firewall, Avast.

The errore that cause the blue screen is:

Hello

I also have the same problem , the dreaded blue screen of death and on that screen is the ( tcpip.sys ) !

I have found 2 files in the c : windows minidump folder.

I have been trying to add these 2 files to a zip file and attach it here , and I have also tried to just attach the 2 files , but it won't let me ?
I think I have to do it as the administrator but I don't remember how to do that.

Any help will be greatly appreciated ! !

Hey guys. i'm new to the forum and I'm at my wits end, which is the reason why I've joined and need help. I've had the blue screen crash my system a few times. I actually restored my computer to original factory setting to no avail. Seems like the crashing keeps happening. I stumbled upon this page because on my "last" BSOD (blue screen of death) the screen said tcpip.sys...but this is new. I've seen everything from this new tcpip.sys to Page Fault in non page area...I have a compaq presario desktop that I purchased in 2007 and have never had any problems with "blue screens" until recently. i'm a pretty much intermediate user and have installed an NVIDIA GEForce 8400 GS in 2008 and everythings worked great since. So since the "problem" began I've run diskcheck,memory check etc. Everything keeps saying its okay please help. PLEASE I'm running Vista 32 bit Home Premium

Hi guys! I am having the same problem, I just mounted this new computer, and installed some games in it. I did the minidump.zip (Attached) I hope you can help me!

I am having the tcpip.sys (BSOD) every 30 minutes. Usually it happens when I am logged at Steam / Origin.
