Help pleaseI turned my computer on one day and all of my programs were gone off my desktop except for a few of them. My backgroung was change as well. I thought I lost of my data until I did a seach in my C drive and it was all there, but not located in the paths on my system. I went to tools and noticed all of my security settings were disable even the default ones. I selected reset on the settinggs and nothing changed. I can not download a spywar program cause that function will not update in the settings. Please advise :)

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post an OTListIt log in THAT forum.

You need to start new topic at the link provided, and state your issues there, not here.
