Welcome to GeeksToGo, :)

My name is Cbarnard I hope I may be of some assistance to you.

Please keep in mind this is not our job and I'm not here 24\7. It can take a little bit of time for me to reply back to you,
if it has been more than 48hrs since a reply, please PM me and I will be with you as soon as possible.

With that said lets take a look.

Well from what I see you have a nice build.

I would consider purchasing a separate DVD\CD burner to burn with. and only use the BR burner for BR

I like to install 2 DVD burners in my builds (evens out the work loads, read from one burn to the other)

I would consider purchasing from Newegg.com for the entire build.

As I was looking at your build I found most of the same parts at a cheaper price at Newegg.com

I assume you plan on installing the OS on the SSD (that will be a good idea) and use the 1tb HDD for storage.

Excellent choice on CPU. you will be able to OC it to speeds in between the 940 and 965 core I7

But if you don't want to get involved with OC ing I would get the 940 or the 965 core I7

I would say just double check the prices, you are on the right track.

Also I noticed that your link to the MOBO is to amazon.com but they get it from Tigerdirect.com
(eliminate the middleman, it cost less!)

Good luck let me know if you need anything else, :)

Case: Coolmaster Cosmos 1000

I own this case, it is gigantic, and it is awesome! There are very similar ones thay you might like better, I like the one you picked the best personally but I thought I should share.
1. Cosmos 1000 Special Edition Notice the all aluminum front instead of the black front. It also comes with 140mm top fans instead of 120mm top fans, which you could change yourself in the regular Cosmos 1000. (there are holes already there for the 140mm fans.) Neweggs specifications don't list that, they list 120mm fans, but on CoolerMasters website, it says the special edition comes with the aluminum front and 140mm top fans, thats the only difference.
2. Cosmos 1010 Identical to the 1000 but has a side fan, for direct VGA and Mobo cooling.
3. Cosmos S Again, very similar but black Aluminum this time, and the entire case is Aluminum now, instead of being predominately steel(very heavy, 37lbs to be exact) like the other Cosmos Series. I'm not sure of the weight of this one, but it will be much lighter, that's for sure.
4. If you like a window on your case like I do they have matching panels specifically for these cases for only $30 on Newegg HERE

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler

I have read a lot of good reviews of this cooler so it is a good choice, another one that has had good reviews is the Dark Knight by Xigmatek It is cheaper with about the same performance. Both of these are very large, so if you end up choosing a different case than the Cosmos 1000, be sure to check if it will fit, especially if the case has a side fan like the Cosmos S.

Power Supply: Silent Pro M 700W

I got this very same PSU as a combo deal with the Cosmos 1000 just a week ago or so. I believe the price has gone up a bit, but you can still save money. Check this out, CLICK HERE. $280 for the case and psu, I got mine for $240 :)

Processor: Intel Core i7 920

If this isn't fast enough for you, something is wrong :)

That's my two cents, hope that helps!

EDIT: That PSU is supposedly silent from what all the reviews say, so if you are lookingi for a quiet build, between the Case you have picked and the PSU, you are heading in the right direction. :)
