when ever i start/stop a program or song my pc makes a horrid noise from the speakers and i cannot explain what the noise sounds like, can any1 help me plz, thanks.

Did you try using another pair of speakers and see if this noise still comes?

Its ok i have sorted it now and thank you for your help.

I had to go to control panel and click sounds and audio devices then click the sounds tab, then i had to change the sound scheme because it was the "close program" sound that was annoying me but thank you anyway
