This is weird.

Go Start>Run, type in:
regedit
Click OK.

Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
and delete:
"DellSupportCenter"=""C:\Program Files\Dell Support Center\bin\sprtcmd.exe" /P DellSupportCenter"

Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
and delete:
"DellSupportCenter"=""C:\Program Files\Dell Support Center\bin\sprtcmd.exe" /P DellSupportCenter"

Restart computer.

I deleted the two lines that you suggested. Bad news. The Dell folder is still opening on startup. I restarted the computer twice just to make sure. I went back and the two lines are gone but it's still doing the same thing. Something else must be triggering that file to open.

Here's a new SystemLook scan:

Let's clarify something.
When you say:

Every time I start up my computer the C:\Program Files\Dell folder opens.

What does exactly open? Windows Explorer, pointing to Dell folder, or...?
Can you post a screenshot?

At the same time, disable dlcdmon.exe in msconfig.
Printer utility is not needed as a startup.

1. Did you remove that Dell printer entry from from msconfig?

2. Re-run SystemLook. This time, use broader script:

:reg
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServicesOnce
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServicesOnce
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceEx
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Userinit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\load
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ShellServiceObjectDelayLoad
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\SharedTaskScheduler

3. Check following folders for any Dell startups:
- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
- C:\Documents and Settings\LoginName\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

1. Yes, I did uncheck the Dell printer from msconfig. But that seemed to cause several messages to pop up on my screen during start up saying that I messed with the configuration and because I did the System Configuration Utility will run every time Windows starts. When I click OK the Utility screen pops up and when I click on that OK, I get this weird Access Denied message and that I need to log on as an administrator to make these changes. My account is set up as the administrator! Anyway, I click OK and a "you must restart your computer" message pops up. I click Restart and the whole process starts over again. Attached is a screen shot of the first message:
untitled.JPG

2. Here's the SystemLook scan you requested:

That message, you posted a screenshot for is perfectly normal.
It'll pop-up every time, you make any changes in msconfig.
All you have to do is to checkmark "Don't show this message..." box, and click OK.
It won't bother you anymore (unless you make more changes).

Now, disable one more entry in msconfig: DLCDCATS

Restart computer.

Download Autoruns for Windows: http://technet.micro...s/bb963902.aspx
No installation required.
Simply unzip Autoruns.zip file, and double click on autoruns.exe file to run the program.
Go File>Save As, and save AutoRuns.txt file to know location.
Attach the file to your next reply.

Did you mean to save the autoruns file as a .txt file? When I did that and opened the file, it looked like a bunch of garbage. The program wants to save the file as a default .arn file. Is that what you want?

Re-run Autoruns, and remove checkmark next to:
DLCDCATS Timer DLL c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\dlcdtime.dll
Restart computer.
