Win32\Alcan virus

Finally after about four different anitvirus programs and maliware removals programs, I found that I have the Win32\Alcan virus on my computer. How can I get clean it up without having to do a total format? Im running in safe mode because explorer.exe will not run when you boot up normally. Avant anitvirus software was the only program that would do an entire scan in safe mode. The problem is the virus was only partially removed, according to the log. Just looking for some insight, any takers???????
