"When you shut off windows by unplugging a comp, there are handles to the registry open, which can lead to registry corruption, which can lead to not booting." as per gerryf. In reference to my previous posting; I am thinking this could be my problem. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem of registry corruption if my laptop is not booting up?
