Yellow Vertical Stripe

My 17" Sony LCD monitor is less than 4 months old. Today it produced a yellow vertical stripe abut 3 to 4 inches from the right side. I switched monitors with an old one to make sure it was the monitor producing the stripe and it appears to be that way.

Other than this thin stripe, the monitor works fine. What caused this and how do I fix it?
