Okay.

This has been bothering me for a while.
I know you can go to a store in some area's.
Also my City and there is free Wifi everywhere.

Some place's charge though.
But i remember a story of a guy in new york
who went to central park everyday and got online.

He made his own WiFi Bubble.
I want to know how to do the same.
Can someone tell me how to go about this and or.
How to build my own Wifi Spot?

WITHOUT A Router hooked up to the internet at home.
>_>

I'm trying to avoid that.

You can't build a WiFi spot yourself without a router. Likewise you can't drive down the road without a car.

Public WiFi at the end of the day is at a basic level nothing more than a router with Wi-Fi access. It could be possible to have a wider or concentrated range with better wireless equipment but when it boils down to it it's simply a box with an aerial on it.

Sounds like the story you read is either somebody logging onto somebody else's network (piggybacking, which is a criminal offence in most areas) or using a public Wi-Fi acces point which, for an area like Central Park, I would be surprised if there isn't at least one public access point there.

Can a Wifi Bubble be made to move around.
Like go road tripping?

I'm trying to figure out a way to make one so I can avoid internet bills.

:)
Real reason is my wireless antena won't work on my computer.
I'm guess its either broken or doesn't work with windows 7.
It detects it but says there is something wrong with my DNS or something like that.

xD

So im trying to create my own Wifi Bubble so I can just get or make a different antena and just use.
My Own Self Created Wifi.
