I have been trying to install adobe reader for two days now and keep getting the error 1406 cannot write value to registry and something about permissions. I have administrator permissions and I can't seem to fix this problems. I have tried most of the fixes for this error but I still get it when downloading adobe or fixit. Can someone help me please.

Forget Adobe Reader. It's a hog. Get FoxIt: http://www.filehippo...download_foxit/
It's much lighter, and does the very same thing.
