I have bought Kaspersky online and am trying to download. It keeps getting stopped telling me I must uninstall Spybot. Even though I have uninstalled, there remains one file that I can not get rid of. It is SDHelp.dll. Kaspersky can't get rid of it and neither can I. Can you help please?

The error is: "Cannot delete SDHelper.dll: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use."

I am very limited in my knowledge of computers so please consider me a real beginner.

Thanks

Restart computer, and keep tapping F8 key until menu like this appears:

Select Safe Mode, and try to delete the file from there.

You're very welcome :)
I'm glad, it worked.

For the future reference, you may want to...

Download, and install Unlocker: http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
Restart computer.
It'll install under right click menu.

Open Windows Explorer.
Navigate to stubborn file.

Right click on stubborn file. Click Unlocker
Select Delete from drop-down menu:

Click OK.
stubborn file will refuse to be deleted, but Unlocker will give you an option to delete on reboot:

Click Yes.
Restart computer.
