I have a Dell Dimension 3100 with Windows XP. When I boot it, a black screen shows 'Floppy Disk Setup Failure.' When I continue, the computer attempts to load Windows but freezes at the 'Windows is starting up' screen. Any solutions?

Floppy disk failure typically occurs at boot up if the system BIOS chip cannot initialize the floppy drive.
