I've scanned with ad-aware and caught a few things but now it doesn't catch anything anymore and I still have my virus. my desktop background is some virus message and I can't open up the taskbar.

You don't seem to have a virusscanner. Please install Avast and let it run a scan.

* Ensure you have disabled all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
