Updated it with links, Basically im looking for overall performance. I am going to be running many 3D drafting applications and some heavy gaming like World of Warcraft. I want it to do these tasks with ease very little if any freezing or stalling. I basically wanted to know whether to pick the AMD build or the INTEL build and what opinions you have on the parts in the build if i should make any changes. I would like to keep it around the same price.

Are you planning on using a 32 or 64 bit OS?

According to the specs on the GFX card, you are going to need a bigger PSU. 630W Minimum Power Supply I would recommend this one even though it is more expensive, you don't want to skimp on a PSU.

Also, I would go with Intel any day over AMD. I will only recommend AMD for people on a tight budget. Now depending on your budget, I would recommend not going with a stock CP cooler, and maybe even upgrading to an i7 Intel.

i7 is a little out of my budget and ya i didnt see that i needed a bigger power supply thanks for pointing that out. im trying to stay around 800 ish give or take. im going to be using 64-bit OS. reason i made an AMD build is i heard the AMD Phenom II X4 955 was a little better than the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 even a little cheaper. But im not great with these kind of specs thats why i wanted someone elses opinions and suggestions.

-If you can think of a build with around these specs with an i7 feel free to post it

Building an i7 rig on an $800 budget is tough, but it can be done. On top of that, unless you are going to overclock there is no real point.

I forgot to ask, is it going to be Vista or XP, and what version?

Depending on what site you go on, some will show the 955 faster, while others will show the Q9550 faster. Since these processor's are such close competitors, I personally would always go with Intel. Again, that is just me and others might have another opinion.

For the GFX cards, specs wise they are exaclty the same. But in the title of the second one, it says you get two free games instead of just one.

Since you are going to have Vista Ultimate 64 bit, I would recommend at least 6 GB of RAM.

There are cheaper PSU's, but that is a great deal on a really good PSU. The last thing you want to do (I have learned this the hardway), is to put all this money into a rig and then add a cheap PSU. A few weeks later it crashes and your out for a new PSU.

Again, it depends on where and what you look at. Here are the two head to head against each other with various benchmarks.

I am just looking for something with around the parts that i have displayed at the top: I run AUTO CAD suite i have the whole suite i run sometimes up to 4 of those programs at once, I use adobe Photoshop ultimate collection sometimes i have 4 of those programs open at a time, i use itunes all the time, normally mod my desktop to use object dock and yahoo widgets instead of start menu, i play World of Warcraft alot and i would like the fps to be high on that, cant really think of much more that would really affect ran or processing.

And im looking to spend really at max like 900$ before MIR

The Q6600 is a step down from the Q9550. I updated my last post to include a head to head comparison. Basicaly, they are showing you benchmarks or test results from various programs that they tested it with. Depending on what test it is, either a higher or lower number is better. It will say which is better somewhere on the benchmark. Normally though, the only one that you will want to see a lower number in is when the answer is in seconds. Giving you a shorter time for something to be opened in or completed in.
