hello there,

i just recently downgraded my compaq v3000 from vista to xp, due to a lot of application compatibility issues with regard to work.

i was able somehow to restore all the drivers, except some big issue:
when i plug in my headset, i can hear the sound from BOTH the speakers and my headset!

i checked my device manager, and everything seems to be working well.

my notebook details are:
compaq presario v3000
os: vista (pre-installed) to xp home edition

please help me.

btw, i am a newbie in forum, so please bear with me.
thanks a lot for your help!
