I just wanted to know if it was possible to install windows 7 RC on a desktop without any prior OS

Just did it last night on a fresh 40 gig hd. Worked great after I figured out i had a corrupt download. Just
re-downloaded it and everything went great. Be prepared to sit and wait while it loads and configures itself.
