Infected Computer Cannot Download From Internet

Hello I am new to geekstogo.com but have read through the Maleware and Spyware Cleaning Guide and had no success because I could not download any of the programs. I have tried to change the download the file location but no matter where I put the download it will not work. To try and clarify, when I try to download it will allow me download it from the website and let me specify where I want to download it to, but the problem is that the file does not appear where it is supposed to. I used the Kaspersky Online Scanner and it detectd a Trojan.Win32.Tdss.acdc. I really have no clue what to do since I can not download programs from the Internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
