Hi,
I have the google redirect virus

I was refered to this site by a few friends, heard nothing but good things.

I know NOTHING about computers so rather than go through all the steps to try and fix this problem (I'm a real patience tester) I was going to just start my computer from scratch, which brings me to my question Would that get rid of this thing? I dont want to really lose all my stuff for it to just pop back up again, Thanks
