I cannot seem to get my pc to boot from a cd. I have a very different bios then all the guides i have looked thorugh. It is thje same colors but It doesnt have a boot tab. I tried going into a tab called startup but there are 8 options. I tried moving them all to the top with no luck. Any help would greatly be appreciated. :)

Read that. It's all about different ways to possibly boot from CD. If it comes down to it, you can boot into a text based formatter using a floppy drive, and format.

Delete old partition and install new one

By this you mean format your drive, to destroy all files present on it; right?

Another thing. If you are going to use a bootable CD to format your drive, I suggest using the GParted Live CD.

You could also boot from USB and use Gparted.
