My "Colorsit" (DSE) computer was having screen size issues (sometimes oversize, sometimes tiny) so I reinstalled ZA Antivirus and Spybot SD but when I rebooted, I could only get to the logon screen and got logged out immediately on logging in. I read the article on reinstalling XP and tried that, but now setup hangs with 34 min remaining to install and the HD light goes out. I have no back-up of my data....I am sorry, I should know better. Please tell me if there is anything else to try before taking it to a repair shop...
