Go to the website rshaffer directed you to.
Check the box "I accept to the above"
And then click on next
Then download this driver

Windows 98Gold/98se/Me/2000/XP/2003(32/64 bits) for Driver only. For Windows 98 SE, DirectX®8 is required to enable advanced features. (Executable file)

Can you also post the make and model of your computer if the audio codec doesn't fix your problem.

I also Know my computer make is Xm-S my mother board is elite group and the speaker system make is genius

You didn't mention the model of your computer.
Xm-S isn't a company that I know of.

Get either the second or third one. I suggest the Zip file so that you can then burn it with the rest of the drivers and have them all on one disc just in case

Look around your computer (back, sides, and bottom) to see if you can find the make and model of it. (The make would be something like HP or Dell and the model could be something with some numbers and maybe letters like, 760n or XPS 3400)
If you go to Start and right click on My Computer it should state your OEM.

EDIT: Look in your computer manual too.
