Hold off on posting these long log files for now until we pinpoint a bit better the cause of the problem.

It appears you have everything connected correctly. The issue is only happening when the main computer is connected to the router, otherwise all is well. With this being said the following comes to my mind:

  • My first guess is the first machine is infected with some type of malicious software, which could possibly be flooding your network causing Internet connectivity issues
  • My second guess would be that the NIC hardware or driver is bad on the main computer causing extended network traffic, possibly flooding the network with broadcasts

Please try and connect your main computer to a different port on the router to rule out the possibility of a bad port on the router.

Also if you could answer me the following questions:

  • What OS is running on each of the machines (mainly interested in the main PC).
  • When the main PC is on, do the other two machines get disconnected at the same time?
  • Do the lights on the router flash or anything (suggesting an issue with the router)?

Lastly, because this is happening ONLY when the main computer is connected. I feel it may be wise to post a thread in the Malware forums and seek advice for this machine. I suggest you go to the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE thread. These self-help tools will allow you to clean up to 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after performing these steps, then please follow Step Five: Rootkit Detection and Step Six: Post an OTListIt2 Log; ensure you post your logs in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal forum. If you are unable to run and/or post any of these logs, then mention that in your initial post in the topic you create in that forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
