Trying to reactivate my old AOL email account

I setup an aol email account about 4 or 5 years ago. It's been about 2 years since I've signed in. Recently, I have tried signing back in but cleary have forgotten my password and when I click on "forgot password", when I type in my screen name, it comes back saying there isn't enough info to reset password when it only asks for my screen name. I tried opening a new account w/the same screen name and it says that it's unavailable. Someone please help me reactivate my old AOL account.
