PDF file too big to fax or e-mail

I use Vista 64. When I scan a document and save to PDF the size of the file increases from KB to 15 or so MB. That file is too big for e-fax to fax or for e-mailing. I tried saving as a word document but the file was hard to read.

And your question is? Take a guess that you want something smaller. Just want a way for others to get the file to read it? Then zip it and use http://SendSpace.com/ 's utility.

And............. if the zipped file is still too large, OR you would prefer to simply extract a few pages at a time and create several pdf files (or delete superfluous pages)? Use the FREE utilities in Software995 (pdfEdit995 etc). A very user friendly virtual printer and pdf editor.
