How to Connect Paypal subscription to Autoresponder account

I am wanting to create a fixed term membership site (12 months) that drip feeds information to members each month via autoresponder. I know how to set-up the autoresponder and I know how to set-up the payment button for a subscription with Paypal. What I don't know how to do is make the to communicate so that when someone subscribes they get their first lesson, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
