my netgear wgr614 v7 does not work wirelessly now?

hi
well it works fine, but i only have a laptop in the home now and i want it to work wireless. i did have a pc connected to the router via ethernet cable and i used my laptop wirelessly with no problems. but now the pc has gone my laptop is still connected to the router wirelessly but im getting no internet connection? can you please help me resolve this?
