I've been using Outlook for 4 years to manage my personal and business emails here at home; however, about 7PM (CST) last night, my "Personal" folder and all the emails included became unaccessable, the primary error window stating:

"The set of folders could not be opened. The server is not available."

I then checked the "Personal.pst" file which holds that set of folder's data and it read 0kb despite being (as far as I can estimate) about 2 GB large before. I'm looking for a way to avoid losing that data (4+ years worth) and am looking for a way to possibly recover it.

I've tried about 3 programs I have to file recovery; all of them returned with zero results saying the files was not a .pst file and one going so far as to say the file was "too corrupted". I also tried a System Restore which yielded no salvation either.
