I have a Toshiba Tecra M9-S5513X laptop with a port replicator running XP SP3. For some reason, the USB ports on the replicator have stopped working. I don't think it's a hardware issue for a few reasons. First, I have had bad sectors on my hard drive that have seemed to coincide with this, in fact I would get warning whenever I had a USB keyboard plugged in saying that a file was corrupted and it was unable to work. Second, it didn't just stop working, it acted funny first. For instance, my keyboard stopped working while plugged into the replicator when I plugged a thumb drive into another USB port. Third, I had looked in device manager and there was an error on a human interface device. I have tried to install the latest chipset drivers and it hasn't seem to worked. I'm really unsure of where to go from here. Thanks for any help you can give.
