Dear anyone who can help

I'm currently trying to find out if my dvd driver supports the burning of dual layer dvd's, i apologise if this is really simple but i'm only just starting to get into computers. So if anyone can help my driver is; HL-DT-ST DVDRW GSA-S10N ATA on a dell xps laptop.

Also i have started looking at external dual layer dvd burners has anyone got any recommendations on what i should go for?

Thanks in advance

If the laptop came installed with Vista as it states in your profile then I should think it does support dual-layer. It's very unlikely not to if truth be told.
