I have a Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic 7.1 SB0460 PCI Audio Sound Card. I plugged it into the motherboard and see the light turn on from a small box on the sound card. I assume that it is getting power in this case. When I downloaded the driver for it, it started the installation and stopped and the installation told me that the device was not detected. I have it securely in the motherboard, I don't know what to try next....

Also, in case this helps, my motherboard has a built in sound.

Try to install the driver first, then shutdown and connect the sound card.

How to do this:
You must install the driver manually by right clicking on the INF file (*.inf) (* is the title of the driver before the INF extension), and clicking Install.
