I have an 0x80070490 error; Can not install SP1; tried:

But I get an "deep error with Windows Update Agent" when trying to install WUA 3.0

NB: I have just an "asus recovery cd" with my V1S laptop

Thanks for your message but i don't have the vista installation disk, only havea recovery disk from asus!

You can still do the command that they show for XP. This works in Vista as well.

still get error 0x80070490!

Download WUFix.
Double click on WUFix.bat file to run it.
Vista users: right click on WUFix.bat, and click Run as Administrator.
After successful run, restart computer.
