I followed every step in the tutorial steup for wireless networks but when i press connect, all it says is acquiring network address. I went to Status of the Wireless Network and it neither sent or received any signal. Also, under support, I have an invalid IP Address for the Address Type and a 0.0.0.0 for the IP Address and Subnet Mask. Can anyone please help??

Hello Swordsman97 and welcome to Geeks To Go!

Are you trying to connect to a wireless network or setup a wireless router?

check your TCP/IP settings and make sure you have them set to "Obtain an IP address automatically" Instructions for checking TCP/IP settings in Windows XP. also make sure DNS is set to "obtain automatically"
