Hey guys i was hoping that somebody could help me out with this problem that i have been having for about a week. Last week i got a antivirus program so i scaned my computer and found a bunch of problems and i cleaned them all. Now whenever i turn my computer on and log onto my accont( the only account on this comp.) i get a message that says "This application has failed to start because SHDOCVW.dll was not found.Re-installing the application maym fix this problem" i click ok then when i get to my desktop i can see my regular backround but i dont have any desktop icons or my taskbar. Does anyone here think that they can help me?

You may still have some malware to get rid of. May I suggest that work your way through the malware removal guide at the top of this forum where it says "Do you suspect a malware (Spyware, Virus, Trojan) infection? Please start here. " If you still have trouble after that, post a hijack this log in the malware forum at:
