My husband just downloaded IE 8 on his computer but the tool and menu bars are black which obscures all the labels. How can we get the color back to light gray? We have looked through help and can't find any. Can someone here please help?

I started up IE 8 this morning and the black tool bars were back. I
went into the themes and changed the theme from Windows Classic to
Windows XP and the bars changed to gray with black lettering. I then
changed the theme from Windows XP back to Windows Classic and the bars
stayed gray with black lettering. There is some kind of bug here.

You may have same problem, if you have some 3rd party Windows theme.

Thank you so much for your speedy reply. I did the theme change and it worked like a charm. I'm going to make a note of the phone number and website for IE8 problems and also check out the Google hits. You people here are wonderful. Thank you again!
