modem troubles

we have satilight internet and the system light for the modem turns off then we have no internet...it only does it now and then, i noticed that if the computer is on too long that's when we really have troubles getting it to work...maby its too warm :) its working ok now.... :)
we also found out when we go to network connections right click LAC and hit repair twice it seems to work some times

Hello speedy1989, and welcome to Geeks To Go. I'm sure being that it is a satellite connection when the connection is idle for a period of time it disconnects itself. It may be possible to login to the modem and set it to always connected.
